Dan Stec is a North Country native, Navy veteran and Adirondack 46er who served eight years in the U.S. Navy nuclear power program, including as a nuclear engineer aboard the USS Truxtun. After returning home to Queensbury, he served as town councilman, town supervisor for five terms, and chairman of the Warren County Board of Supervisors for two terms.
