He frequently frames his positions around protecting small businesses, farms, manufacturers, workers, and local economic development in Assembly District 132.
Specific Actions & Proposals
Palmesano urged the governor to reconsider limiting IDA sales-tax benefits to Excelsior-qualified projects, saying local economic development officials need more tools to foster upstate job creation and that nearly 5,000 district jobs would not have been saved or created under the proposed restriction.

SourcePhilip Palmesano, Republican Assemblymember for New York Assembly District 132, emphasizes energy affordability, reliability, fuel diversity, and "energy choice" while criticizing New York's CLCPA climate mandates and universal electrification policies. Specific Actions & Proposals
