Patrick M. Gallivan is the Republican New York State Senator for District 60 and serves as Senate Minority Whip. Before joining the Senate, he served as Erie County Sheriff from 1998 through 2005 and spent 15 years with the New York State Police, rising from Trooper to Captain. He is also a small business owner, founding and operating a professional investigation and security firm, and previously served on the New York State Board of Parole.
