Joseph Angelino was elected to the New York State Assembly on November 3, 2020 and represents Assembly District 121, covering parts of Broome, Chenango, Delaware, Madison, and Otsego counties. He is a lifelong Central New York resident who served as a Norwich police officer, police sergeant, and Chief of Police for nearly 20 years; he also served simultaneously as Norwich Fire Chief from 2006 to 2008. Angelino enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps in 1985, served three combat tours over two wars, received two Purple Hearts, and retired from the Marine Reserves as a Sergeant Major in 2008.
