Becky Wydysh is the former Chairwoman of the Niagara County Legislature and was the first woman to hold that position. First elected to the Niagara County Legislature in 2015, she represented the 2nd District and became chairwoman in January 2020, helping coordinate Niagara County's COVID-19 response and chairing the county's opioid task force. Her full-time career has been in the Niagara County Courthouse, including the County Clerk's Office, District Attorney's Office, and since 2008 as Deputy Commissioner of Jurors for Niagara County with the New York State Unified Court System.
Committee Assignments: No committee assignments available.
Her documented healthcare-related positions include supporting opioid-abuse prevention, Narcan training, treatment funding for incarcerated people with substance-use disorders, and county cost recovery from opioid manufacturers/distributors.
